Jennifer “Miss B” Baptiste, of Haitian descent, is a writer, actor, librarian, event host and illustrator based in Los Angeles. She creates lyrical introspective pieces to promote healing, mindfulness, and curiosity. Her favorite color is pink, she is a vegan foodie, and enjoys day trip adventures with loved ones. 

She creates lyrical introspective pieces that resonate with the heart and mind to promote healing and curiosity. Miss B has been published in the Altadena Poetry Review Anthology as well as various journals such as We The Ana, Drifter Zine, Mobile Data Mag, LA Poets Society, and others. Miss B. also promotes and uplifts other writers through her literary interviews as host of LA Poet Society's "Voices Of Color" IG Live Series. Under the banner WheresMsB, she produces literary related products that feature her illustrations and zines.

Librarian Biography

Jennifer is an academic librarian based in Los Angeles with over 20 years of experience in library settings from public libraries, to K-12 schools, to colleges. She holds a masters in Library Science from Sam Houston State University and is credentialed in School Librarianship in California and Texas. Her library service accomplishments have a focus in mentorship, professional development presenting, instructional planning, event coordinating, leadership, and social media marketing.
